Update: MSF course

hey guys i took the msf course the past weekend and feel its one of the best things i could have done. i learned a lot from how to make myself more visible to gaining more confidence in my abilities to ride a motorcycle. i would most definately reccomend this class to anyone who has not taken it whether you already have your liscense or not. i watched people who say they been riding for years not be able to maneuver the bike as neccessary. i feel it is very important not only for your safety but for the safety of others. has anyone taken the advance course? im interested in it and would like to know if it is as good as the beginners course.

Haven't taken the advanced yet- friend took it and said it was totally worth it though.

Been told it's better than the beginner course. The advanced course basically reviews things from the beginner course and teaches new things. And its on your own bike so there's no transitioning period.

What was suggested to me (since the MSF courses are free in PA) is to take the beginner your first season. Take it again at the beginning of your second season to knock the rust off your skills from winter. And then take the advanced towards the end of summer
