Default Update

Will be 8 weeks tommorrow since the accident.

Went to the doc this morning and got the official go-ahead to take of my cast for good. now i get to start a few weeks of therapy to restore range of motion and lost muscle tissue so i can return to work.

i was amazed at just how fast the muscle tissue deteriorates. definitely gonna take some work to get back to 100%.

Good to hear you're making progress, bud.
You're definitely on the home stretch, now... and you'll be back before you know it.

I know how that goes. I broke my foot really bad years ago and was on crutches for about six weeks, and then in either a walking cast or a special shoe for another eight. By the time I could start rehab, I had about half the muscle mass on that calf as I did my good one. The good thing is that it comes back quickly, too, so long as you're working it and eating healthy.
