Default Turning "GSXR" from bad to good

We all know when we hear GSXR, we think squid. Dont lie to yourself. You see them on the road all the time.

Well, I'd like to show ya'll that we're trying to change that.

Here's a guy that making a kit to use GSXR carbs on our 4x4 engines.

GSXRs are today what Trans-Ams with birds on the hood were to us in the 1980s. Capable but tasteless.

I have seen squids on everything from Harley's to Yamaha's and everything in between.... so no I don't think of GSX-R's as squid bikes.... I think of squidly riders on nice bikes......

Yeah, serious. You can't blame the rice if there's a chunk of squid on top. I love all rice, even American grains are okay (not my fave, but it'll keep you going...). There's really no bikes I dislike, what's not to love?

Listen to what a rider calls their bike to figure out if they got the Suzuki because they like it or have to have it just to have it.
GSXR = Not Squid
Gixxer = Squid

Squids are on everything. But if I see someone on a GSXR1000 and another person on a CBR1000 or even a ZX-10. I assume the Honda/Kawasaki riders probably are a little more skilled.

I personally wouldn't own a "Gixxer" just because of their stereotype. It's like a Harley. They hvae to have a Suzuki GSXR because they want a GSXR. Just like someone looking at a Harley would never consider getting a Suzuki/Yamaha/Honda cruiser.

Same thing for the Hyabusa. I think the ZX-14s look way way way way better than the Hyabusa but I saw my first one today on the road.

I'd take a zx-14 in a heart beat and actually ride. Not use it as a ***** extension like the busa guys do.

I think you all put too much stock in what other people think about stuff. Buy what you want and ride what you want. The idiots will do the same....

haha I don't completely agree but that's a great way to put it

Guys, a GSXR or gixxer or kawi or yamior whatever sportbike you're talking about is almost always a completely capable machine. It depends on the rider not the bike. I was getting my bike fixed this weekend and an 06 GSXR 1000 put down 175 HP on the dyno with nothing but a pipe anda customer mapped PC3... that's insane!
