RE: TRYIN TO GET MY BUDDY TO RIDE...HELP
I hope he and his wife can come to an agreement. I will tell him a ninja is o.k. to buy.I just hope he gets a bike! another guy I know from high school wants to ride all the time but he is a drunk. So he wants to ride to the bar and get wasted which is not my thing when I ride. Thanks to all of your opinions. I know I can't get too involved in the matter , unless I buy it for him, L.O.L. I would just like to have a friend that rides then to meet someone that rides and to try to be friends.Munson understands the situation pretty good

RE: TRYIN TO GET MY BUDDY TO RIDE...HELP
My buddy bought a older ninja 250 with in 2 months or so he bought a zx9r, the funny thing is when he bought the zx9r his feet could not touch the ground until i lowered it for him. The 250 i think would be a good starter bike for him but he might want to upgrade quickly i would say a gs 500. Been seeing them go pretty cheap now a days.

Let your buddy ride your bike and get used to it. Then when he feels comfortable, tell your buddy to take his wife out on a ride. Her juices will be flowing, so have him pull over on some abanded road and F the shiz-bit out of her Then after she's climaxed, have him ask her for a bike again.
Hey, don't look at me like I'm retarded. You know it'll work

The 250 is a great bike to start on. There are numerous people on this forum that will recommend a person starts on a 250 for safety, and for skills (a 250 is slower so you have to learn to ride better/smarter to keep up). We got my wife's 2005 for $1200...totally lucked out on the deal, but he can get a used one for pretty cheap, then turn it over to her when he upgrades. It does sound like they need to have a weekend at the coast or something to reconnect...maybe set up a date night, and have her have a girls out night a time or two a month, that way she isn't so on the edge and be more willing to let him have his own time, too. Problem is, as we all know, he will never want to be home anymore once he gets the bike...
