I was at a 5 way stop light the other day in the turn lane. Since it is a 5 way it is a abnormaly long wait time for the red light. So this prius pulls up next to me, stops because its a red light, then proceeds to treat it like a stop light and drive through the red light.

Prius drivers are all hippies who are new to driving. The only reason why they drive at all is because they've been convinced Priuses are actually good for the environment.

I do love knowing that my sport bike gets about the same gas mileage as a Prius.

around here it's not their driving that's bad it's their attitudes they are so smug. These are the same people that believe they are saving the world by driving one but throw away their batteries in the trash... this topic brings a video to mind.

Got married on one of those... Busted speedo, cracked rear bumper, the handle of the tailgate ripped off, cracked mask, right side rear door handle didn`t work etc etc... and it was about 5 years old... All show, no go if you ask me... Guzzles ridiculous amounts of gas too (costs 4 times more here than there) No offence, but that money would buy many cars soooo much better...

That's your opinion. And also why you are in the market for a Prius.

Hey, everyone by their own way i guess... Have a Volvo S80 2.5Diesel and a Citroen Xantia mk1 1.8i athena at the moment. No judging, just an opinion as you sais. That particular one at least was a complete POS.

EDIT: and a MAN TGA 18.313 FLLC truck with 12litre engine. and even that takes too much diesel if you ask me... It`s more comfortable to drive as you don`t get overrun with other traffic so much, but the gaso bills give me gray hairs...

well, if the prius REALLY was about saving the environment - why did they use a gas motor? diesel is better for the environment. not to mention, a diesel generator would be stronger as well, so they wouldn't have needed to make such a big battery.

and believe me, the guy with his truck idling in a parking lot is NOT what's doing damage to the environment.

and that top gear vid is great. i loved that episode. clarkson says it best "it's not what you drive, it's how you drive". and by the time that car his the dealer's lot - it's already circumnavigated the globe AND all the components on it have been mined and quarried in places that have literally blown up the natural environment

god i hate priuses.
