We have 4 or 5 pretty big runs down here in DFW, the next oneis called the "Big Texas Toy Run" and will probably have 10,000 -15,000 bikes, coming from three cities meeting in the middle.

Though sport bikes will be in the minority, we'll still make an impressive showing.

We ride for the kids.

That is what matters the most. Who gives a sh*t what you ride. Its the cause that matters.

That and we stay the fug away from harley riders. i wouldnt want one of their smart mouths getting hurt by my fist.
Holy cow! that is a very prjudiced point of view, and a very poor atitude to have.
Watch your own glass roof before casting those stones...
2 wheels are 2 wheels. and they are not the only ones with a bad rep.

We had a great time, and evryone was treated equally good.

I did find it odd, that even though the dealership does sell Buells, not a single one was on the rally. (they had an orange XB12R on the showroom that was absolutely gorgeous)

My guess would be that since not that many sportbikers visit Harley dealerships, they never found out about it.

WDR glad you got to make the run would have liked to been there. I would like to thank you for your participation for a worthy cause the children of this country are our future

As far as those 1% on a power trip, ego high and all-around bad *** bully demonstrating poor conduct in general I have personally found that a minimal amount of force applied in the right manner allows them to walk away with dignity and quietly and occasionally newfound respect for those around them in general and there are those type individuals in every community in every walk of life

Randy,
You have got to post up some pics after your next run. I havent seen that kind of turn out since some of the Redwood runs I would go on as a kid with my pops.

We had a ride up my way as well. Maybe 15 sportbikes, but there were roughly 600 bikes total. It was my group ride of more than 8. A ton of fun and a great cause.

wow, nice post! I would love to participate in something like that. Don't need to ride a harley to show the love... I am suprised at the low turnout of sport bikes.
