Please let Girardi be the replacement. I don't think Mattingly is gonna cut it for us to be competitive next year.

Agreed it is sad...but i have hope...I am proud of Torre tellin ole George to get off......especially for 2.5 mil less...bahh.... Torre has made enuogh over the past 12 years to not want orhave to deal with Stienbrenners antics anymore....he was only managing this year to help groom our next manager.......and secretly i hope it is Donny Baseball to save the day.....i think a lot of the guys will respect him and not mind playing for him....unlike any of the other candidates, he has never been with any other orginization..and i think that gives him a little one uppage in the players eyes....but who knows.......out with the old ..in with the new..and we'll just buy whoever elsewe need..
