Nice! I do notice that about half the HD rider do not wave at sport bikes, but that's here in Ohio. I rode out to PA and none of the HD riders would wave at us.

Wingers are just a breed of there own-I'm not even going there.

I've pretty much given up on being the first to wave at HD/cruiser riders, I will wave back if they wave first though. I'm sure they are thinking the same thing, but I got tired of looking like an idiot when I wave at them and they just smirk or act like they don't see you. I'm sure somesport bike riders do the same thing to them, and that's why they don't wave back but whatever...It's even funnier when the guy ridingdoesn't wave but the girl on the back does. :D

I wave at pretty much anyone except motorcycle cops unless it's by accident lol. I've found most Harley riders in my area will wave back, but you gotta usually wave first before they'll acknowledge your presence, although they are starting to get better about it.

People probably think I snub the whole waive jester. Its not that I am snubbing, its that I am not going out of my way to look for someone to waive too.
I do not have a prejudice as to who I waive to however, hell I think I have even given the what's up to a couple of scooter folks.

How many people go out boating? I rarely get the chance to. But I have noticed that it does not matter in that community, you get a waive no matter if your paddling a canoe, or motoring a yacht!!!! But there is always that occasional prick that just snubs you and powers up like he is the man!!!

I also have an old air-cooled VW bug. This is another close nit community, but once again. There will always be that one prick who didnt turn a single wrench on his car that will snub you like your lower class.

Giving or receiving the waive should be just that, cool if you get one and cool if you give one. Who cares what the other guy does.

But I do have to say your list fits the stereotypes perfectly.lol.... All stereotypes have to start somewhere.....

i wish i could talk to him, lol.
i woulda asked him if he red lined it, or if it always sounds like it gona fall apart

today tho, i did see an older, normal (probably home built) type of cruiser and he waived right away, that was pretty cool.

I have seen all of those but the sportbike one...love it! I have about 80% of the Harleys wave back to me. Usually, I am the one who initiates. When I see some one percenter looking dudes, though, I don't even bother because I know they think they are way too cool to wave to stupid me on my stupid sportbike. I haven't trafficed meth or killed anyone, so I am not a worthy member of the motorcycle community...dirty, greasy, stinky f_ckers [sm=loser.gif]
