Thinking about moving from f4i to 954
I've posted this on cbrworld, but it seems that that forum has pretty much died and I have yet to hear anyone's opinion on that site as to my query. Anyway I've got an F4i, that I love btw, and I'm thinking about moving to a 954 sometime in the near future. Sure the 1000rr is sweet, but personally I think the 954 and F4i are the best looking bikes Honda has ever made so even though I could move to a new bike, I just love the styling of the 954 but that's neither here nor there.
I'm really just looking for opinions from other riders about moving from a 600cc to a liter bike. I've never ridden a liter bike, but I've got a bit of experience riding 600s. I do a lot of long distance highway riding so my main reason for thinking about moving up to a liter is to be able to cruise the freeway without turning 7k rpm.
One thing I like about the 600 is that even if you grab a handful of throttle mid turn you still won't spin the rear tire; is modulating the throttle on the 954 that much more difficult?
Other thoughts/opinions about moving from a 600 to a liter bike?
PS maybe I should get the 954 for the street and turn the F4i into a track bike...

Concurrence, I just bought my 954 and sold my FZ 1. Big difference even thought the FZ 1 is a litre bike. FWIW, I went from a YZF 600r to a Triumph 955i Daytona, never looked back on a 600 cc bike again. Once you are hooked staying with a litre is the way to go.
