RE: thinking about making a chopper out of the 900rr
I am going to have to make a custom rear fender, put some kind of a headlight up front, and try to find some room for the battery and other misc sensors.
What do you guys think? |

Maybe chopper isn'tgonna be all that easy trying to swap out the front forks/neck to get rake, but some kind of stripped down muscle bike would be cool. Minimize everthing so it is just motor and rubber. There is a bike around here that is so ugly that I kinda like it. Good luck.

Do it.

Looks hella cool to me. You'll have to weld up the swingarm, since if it moves much it'll pinch the rider up against the tank... but other than that, keep us posted!

I like the idea. sounds dangerous.

RE: thinking about making a chopper out of the 900rr
The way I see it is I want to keep it naked, get the seat mounted, battery under it with all the sensors, then make a rear fender and mount it to the control arm so it moves with the wheel. The biggest pain the the butt might be the shifter and the rear brake, I have to move them forward about a foot or so.

Looks pretty sharp to me. I'd say keep it up and share the spare parts [sm=grinangel.gif]
