that happend to me exept for the laughing part. i just let them go ahead. i think becouse i was on a bike they had a lot more room to get ahead of me. and the guy was in the left lane ganan turn left but i guess he wanted to go stight. its not like it matter wher both going the same way.

They probably were laughing at either the fact that you were out in the cold weather (for some reason people think i'm crazy to do it, too) or that when you revved maybe they thought you accidentally rolled on the throttle and didnt really mean to do it. Maybe they are riders and thought you were some squidly nub.

So I flip him off and just stare straight ahead, nothing else happened, I got out in front and left them behind.
Remember, some middle age white guys grew up in nasty parts of the country and have been in nasty parts of the world doing things to people that you wouldn't want done to you. Best thing to do is use your horn and wave nicely, keep your fingers to yourself, don't learn the hard way that some middle age white guy may have had a bad day or his soon to be ex-wife is sleeping with the pool-boy (who owns a bike similar to yours) and all it takes is one wild hair on his part and he gives you a little bump and you are a cripple.
Be nice to people, even middle age white guys, I don't want some other old guy thinking I am some 20 something year old ******* needing to be taught a lesson when he is in a SUV and I am out riding on a beautiful fall day.
