Default Tail of the Dragon

Hello everyone, I was going to post this in the road trip section but it doesn't seem to have as many visitors as this one. I want to head out this weekend to ride the Tail of the Dragon a.k.a. Deals Gap, here in the south... I was wondering if anyone here has been out there that can tell me what to expect, and any advice would be appreciated.. Here's the link to the website, definitely worth a look:

^My bad, address corrected... but anyway check it out...

They have increased the amount of cops up there and they aregiving out tickets like crazy. It's a great place to ride; twisties like you've never seen before.

Right now is not a good time to go unless you are willing to go other places. Too many cops on the Dragon pulling people over for no real reason. If you want some excellent routes that are not riden much, drop me a line and I'll tell you some!

I'm heading up there this friday, and staying up there (not necessarily at the gap) for about a week. From the sounds of the popo on the dragon we may have to find somewhere else to play, but that's no biggie... tons and TONS of awsome roads throughout the area we can choose from

I can't wait!!

its a great ride, check it out at killboy.com
area photographer photographs all rider as they ride thru.
you can get a little idea of the ride.
it is 318 tight turns in 11 miles.
if your a first timer to this kinda of riding better take it slow the first pass
