Them guys were stoopid ... I looked at the pics and didn't see any failed welds. Casting just cracked. But they all herd like sheep and bitch about welds And the one guy saying his '02 felt tankish ... [sm=WTFsgign.gif]

Nice information for us Honda guys to have though ... nice find!

seeing thats a stunt sight...what in gods creation are they doing to cause that kind of damage...but...those frames are snapping at the cross section not the weld....almost makes one think the extrusion process failed and crystalized the aluminum...if you cool the metal to qucikly it tends to crystalized and become stupid brittle. guess newer suzukis are on the NIX list. I T-boned a truck on a 2002 TLR it folded the frame under itself but nothing cracked and no welds broke... at 40mph.

gotta love material properties and testing class

suzuki might want to reconsider their alloying methods.

doesn't affect me tho, only really ever liked hondas and yamahas with a few euros thrown in

Suzuki has had a few snapped frames over the past couple years. The 07*s are having subframes crack too, again not a lot, but there are a few reports out there.

For what it's worth, My friend had a 06 CBR1000 snap in almost the same place after a 40mph lowside. granted it hit a guard rail after sliding, but it wasn't going that fast by that time

why is suzuki the only japanese mfg. that offers a 750 super sport? I don't get it, I think it would be a good middle road for a lot of people. they seem popular enough.
