the alien series was always a fairly decent movie when it came to the aliens...puppets rather then CG...AVP2...one of the worst movies ive seen in a long time but the best scene in the movie...when that bitch girl gets a star impailed...rag doll on the wall.

I remember watching Alien in the dark and being really scared/involved. I haven't really been scared by a movie since.

And I agree with KC on the best part of AVP2 being the little **** being slammed into the wall by the Predator's throwing star. The fiance and I cheered when that happened. The people behind us didn't like that.

I actually think AVP1 was better b/c it stuck to the story and didn't try to do much beyond aliens fighting predator. It was short and to the point and the second one made me appreciate it that much more.

damn straight it stuck to a ****ing story, AVP was basicly just like Rambo 4...justa ton of things being killed....but Rambo 4 was lik rocky, had to end it in such a way to kinda forget it but...400+ kills in less then 1 hour.
basicl;y movies now adays are just kinda sucking, to much CG not enough real time, lets replace the acter with a stunt double and have him jump from a cliff that we made in the labs with Lightwave. Just to much computer works like the new cars...nothing but a plastic tube with wheels.
