OUCH !!
but it looks not too bad thankfully Jules..
Bloody new bikes and the plastic fairings bashed around are definately not good to look at
but like Gregg said ... it will be neat to add your touch to the new ones
You have to look at the bright side .... have fun fixing her Jules

Thank you Steve, it has to be original for me though ... the petrol tank has survived completely so its just a new set of clothes really :-)
I have bid on a few bits already in the correct colours ... if per chance I came across a complete set of fairings and bodywork in different colours that would be fine too, a change of colour but still as the factory intended ... I am ok now but I am really hurting and aching here .. I just took more pain killers so will try sleep again soon when they kick in ..its late now 1:20am ...

Yer the pain from bruising always getsyu a few days later ..
I too prefer the original colors .. changing them always makes you remember the destroying of the old ones... ( and Jules , I have wrecked quite a few tanks and fairings over the years :- ) ,
not on the CBR though as yet ( touch wood )
You get some sleep missy ... "1:20am ... " you need a smack .. all be it a gentle one
night

Jules if you find some fairings for your bike that match, then check the same person's past auctions, you may find that they tried selling all of them separately, but didn't sell and you can offer to purchase them for an additional cost.
I love how when the fairings are damaged, the whole bike looks totaled, yet in the end, all mechanicals still function and maybe there is a bent control here are there.
Your stator cover didn't get badly damaged with all of that? Wow.
