Full coverage, but since it is a personal loan I'd take for the bike I could put it down to liability which would only cost $500/year.

Also, just found out that the google answer for the MSRP isn't right, instead of $10,500 it's $11,995. But I think I could get it down to $10,500 OTD at this dealer.

It is full coverage. I've never been pulled over and the only "violation" I have on my record is from when some older guy backed his car into mine in a parking lot and his insurance paid for the damages.

I'm actually quite responsible...but then again I am still 18...

see i didn't know because it's not a sportbike. for a 600 supersport, you'd probably be around $3500 a year for your age for full coverage

Location may also being playing a huge impact on this. Im 22 with a clean driving record and Liability is around 1400$... Full coverage is more in lines of 3500$

That's AFTER my insurance agent worked to drop it as low as possible.

But Location again im in Central Cali

I think it was actually the same cost through progressive, I was originally looking at getting a 600rr.

No matter, I might decide to go liability only and take the saved money and buy a GOOD alarm and frame sliders.

I live in New England, much shorter riding season here probably plays a large part into the rates.

Yeah, I haven't ridden since September and won't start again for a month or two.

Hey Bud try State Farm - another option is to run it in under your parents policies
with whatever ins outfit they use - get the multi vehicle discounts etc.

If you have a loan on it, private or commercial, - cover the value of the bike with
insurance - you don't want to be left paying out on a bike that gets stolen crashed
or junked etc.

Yeah it's called gap insurance. The dealer should offer it. I think in some states it's required by law.

They had to offer it to me even though it'd be impossible to be upside down on the amount I owe on Yolie.
