Default Softball sized rocks not too good for rims...

Out riding with my buddy this afternoon and we had a little accident. He managed to hit a rock in the road at about 60. After talking about it we came to the conclusion he was lucky that he didnt crash. The tire blew out as soon as hehit the rock. Pretty scary! The rim is toast but dont worry, the rock it just fine! Havea look--->http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...3/mikesrim.jpg

Thats the thing, it blended into the road so damn good it was hard to see unless you were coming from the other direction due to the sunlight. The sun was to our backs, couldnt see its shadow or anything.
