He has nothing to do with gas prices, and taxing oil companies extra also will do nothing. They'll pass the cost on to us and suffer none at all.

The president can propose higher gas taxes.

Higher prices due to taxeswill lower demand, thus hurting profits.

Of course you will pay more, but in time you will drive less by buying a smaller vehicle or combining trips.

Not only will the gas companies suffer, but so will many Arabterrorist organizations that rely upon oil revenues to finance their attacks against us.
