snow records broken, is yours?
 

yesterday we broke the record for most snowfall EVER recorded:

so we beat the previous record which took 3 days to accumulate, in about a day and 1/2. as crazy as it is it is BEAUTIFUL.

I know other states records were broken, was yours? how much snow did you get?

0.00 ml.no snow in Aussie last winter,which is strange,we get snow here everyear[highlands].....................??Warmest Winter ever recorded in Aussie,Warmest Summer on record too...:icon_shrug::icon_shrug:

got quite a bit in maine but i dont think any records were broken

No records here on the sout' side of Chicago.
Its cold(highs in the teens) but only have a few inches of snow on the ground.
Northwest Indiana and SW Michigan are getting pounded by Lake Effect snows though...close to 2 ft in some areas. :icon_snow:

Pittsburgh on the flip side had a VERY cool summer, with few days even in the 90's. Cool summers are generally followed by horrific winters. We've had some snows, but nothing mega accumulating. 33" is sick!

Al Gore...pfff...Al Gore's net worth has increased 12x since becoming involved in the "global warming" thing.

I think it's simply evolution. If you look at animals over time, they evolve to their surroundings, because surroundings change. Were our society in the ice age, we'd have thought the end of the world was near when the ice age ended. There are cycles and climate changes have taken place LONG beyond the history of our record keeping.

I think technology has allowed us to analyze things that were previously unknown and misunderstood. What would've antarctica looked like in 1100AD were we to have had cameras and ice sensors and "polor bears taking a dump" sensors. The Earth has compensatory mechanisms just like our bodies and everything natural on this planet. Things change, and everything adjusts...all a big cycle.

If Al Gore were so concerned he wouldn't have objected to placing windmills on his property, or live in that monstrosity that is his house and he wouldn't blast around in that big jet he has. All B.S.....big time.
