I was in the farthest region of my sales territory today (1 1/2 hoursaway from home) delivering and setting up a heating system that I rented a general contractor for a commercial building. Well, the shop never checked to make sure it was working from last winter, and it was all f_cked up so I spend about five extra hours trying to get this thing running (it still doesn't). Anyway, I finallystarted heading home about 6 pm and had and hour and a half to go. This is one of three nights that my wife doesn't work, so I always try to spend at home. I was speeding to get home when Inoticed a CHP come over the hill. He hit the lights, and I pulled over immediately to wait for him. Here's the thing, I left my wallet at home this morning, and I have a new truck (get a new one every six months through my work) and haven't gotten the registration or insurance info with me (at the office). He told me I was going 78 in a 55...then I told him about my no liscence, insurance, or registration. He told me to write down all my personal info on his notepad, which I did, and handed it back to him. So I am sitting there, starving because I had no money to buy lunch, cursing my shop for screwing me over with an extra long day, cursing my luck for being in the wrong place at the wrong time (I never see cops on this stretch of highway), wondering how much my insurance is going up because I just got a speeding ticket a year ago,when I see the officer come back up to my window. He tells me it is my lucky day, and he has something he has to run and do, and to drive safe. Holy ****...all I could do was thank my higher power!!! [8D]

It sure is and i do it just about every day on the way to and from work in my car. I think I speed more in the car and truck then I do on the bike. I go fast onthe bike, but it's short blasts most of the time.
