It was also in A.I., Serenity and a quite few other movies (mostly B-movies). Isaac Asimov wrote about it too in Robots of Dawn and I wouldn't be surprise if Captain Kirk boinged a few. Just gotta watch out for the Austin Power Fembots with submachine guns loaded in the nipples.
