selling my subs, need some prices
i kno this has nothing to do with motorcycles...but i do need some ideas here...it has to do with motor vehicles, so if this is in the wrong thread or if it should be deleted, i apologize to the mods
but anyway, im looking to sell my subwoofers from my old car, as they dont fit in the massive(haha) storage of my insight...but i have no idea what a good price would be for them, heres the stats: 2x 400 watt Punch 12" subs; 2x 600 watt Kenwood amps, stereo and bridgeable; the box and everything wired together and attached...if u need more info feel free to ask
so what should i ask for them? thanks in advance

RE: selling my subs, need some prices
well you bought everything on that list from best buy so just ask for about 10% of what you paid for it...30-50 bucks is probably the most you'll get for that
I have a 10" Xtant X1044 with a custom ported box, an Xtant A3001 Amp, a 1 Farad Monster Cap and 4 gauge monster hooking the whole thing up (cost about 800 new) and I can't get 100 bucks for it.

ya, i know the feeling, the prices of car systems has dropped so much
i actually bought it from a friend who installed it with me too for $600...i realize now that i had wayyy over paid...but it all was so expensive a couple of years ago...i wonder why the drop in price?
do you think maybe 200 would be too much to ask for it?

RE: selling my subs, need some prices
Haha, yea, it right 250W, lol. They were 2-12's. I blew my 1000W amp, but with the 250W, they would STILL hit HARD!! I have the same setup in my Eclipse right now (the ones I sold were out of my girls car). I had a few 250W & 500W amps sitting around from my show cars I did, and I sold the 500W, but had the 250W's left over, so I used those. They still sound awesome.
