+1.. no way he gets 3k and a quick sell, that car is beat. Location matters also. Around here 1500 as is maybe, 1000 more likely.

Bingo! Thats exactlly where I was gonna go with the idea. Hondas hold their value and even thou it may look ruff, theres plenty of guys out there lookin for a work car that would be good on gas and could care less bout how it looks.

Put it in Craiglist for $1200 and received 13 replies just last night. I offered it to the first five IM sure it will go away quickly. Most were saying have cash will take right now.

As for me I want nothing out of it the Kid is out of my hair and that has saved me $1000's of dollars so far.

Thanks for the replies I was going for the $500 price at first until you guys bumbed it up.

2000 honda civic dx probably
stick or auto ?
body is in decent shape
it has aftermarket headlights
needs fenders, side skirts , some rims and a lil bit of paint here and there

do you have paper work on the new motor? how far back is the registration? that car is actually not in that bad of shape. a clean specimen of that car would go for atleast 5k easy. low miles clean title, you could easily make 3k off that. as long as it drives perfect and the interior isnt like a 5/10 i dont see why you wouldn tbe able to get atleast 3k for that.

ok i just looked at your add and you need to change some things.

DX not DE
does it have any power options ?
how is the heater/ac / power steering
any motor issues/tranny issues ?
show a picture of the interior
tell wether its a 5spd or auto in the ad.

Ya I didn't even hose the thing off for the pics, just stopped by and took em. I should of looked a little better at it but im sure it will go away fairly quickly. as for the paperwork on the motor Im sure he lost it but it might be in the glovebox.

thanks for looking at it.

They tried that. I told em no. it would cost more then what the car was worth to drive it 2100 miles, tires, reg, fuel, oil change and 6 million zip ties to hold the bumbers on

This is my last dealing with the kid. He worked for me and I fired him 3 times for not showing up but had to keep hiring back after I got tired of paying his bills and buying his motor. If it wasnt for my brother I would of wrote him off a long time ago. Im just glad I sent him home.
