yea I know i'll find one its killin me plus me and my gf keep fighting (well she keeps fighting) over stupid crap and I cant wait to get a bike and just go ride and relax

 

If this is a first bike, a 1000 is a bad idea.

 

Not a first bike I used to have a GSXR-750 and I've been ridin dirtbikes and some streetbikes for 7 years

I dont see it as a matter of being cocky even though cockiness will lead to stupidness. Anyone could be cocky on any bike and almost all bikes have enough power to do what the next size up will do to you if you're stupid on it. I just see it as a matter of you being ready for one. Stepping up from a 750 to a 1000 is seriously not that big of a jump. I had an 05 gsxr 750 before I bought my 1000 and you do feel a major difference but its all the same concept. Practically anything you can do on a 750...you can do on a 1000 minus a few MPH top speed and a little more Horsepower.
