Too much gas pedal...the driver in the second video was spinning the tires when the tie rod broke. That obstacle would have been no problem it if the driver was a little more experienced and patient. Granted, the tie rods on the H2 are the same as a Caprice, but as the first video shows, the truck is very capable in the right hands. I have wheeled over much more difficult stuff than that, and never broken anything. (knocks on wood)

Jeeps are definately more capable off road. There is a reason everyone (except me it seems) loves to wheel a jeep. I have seen people bust tie rods, drive shafts, and t-cases, and axles on Jeeps though too. Driving stupid has that effect on the pocketbook.

hummer H2s have the engine, and the independent suspention for off road, but steering, cooling, ect. wasn't designed for it. I will be one of the first to say the orig. hummers were off roading mothers, could be up to mud past the door and still goin, but from what I have seen around here, hummers are like most suv's... milk getters. I would rather take my Bronco up in the hills, wheel it and take the CBR on the HWY, but thats me.

Patrick -- it's kinda like the old joke about the elephant and the mouse. An elephant and mouse were good friends and frolicked through the jungle all day. One day the elephant stepped in quicksand. He yelled, "Quick mouse ... go get the H2 and pull me out before I drown!" The mouse ran home, got the H2 and pulled the elephant out. A couple of days later while romping through the jungle the mouse fell into quicksand. He yelled, "Elephant, hurry and get the H2 before I drown in this stuff!!!" The elephant said, "Wait a second mouse, I think I can straddle this patch of quicksand and lower my (insert colorful metaphor here) and you can grab it and climb out." The mouse agrees to try. So the elephant indeed straddles the patch of quicksand, lowers the old johnson and the mouse climbs out to safety.

Moral: If you gotta big dick you don't need an H2.
