Damn.
Im a squid, been riding for a bit over a month. I always wear full leathers, gloves, helm and try to ride safe, but that story is humbling. Especialy since before i got a bike (a 929rr for a first bike) everyone told me to get a 250cc or something smaller and i didn't listen. Now i understand, those people had been riding for years and knew what they were talking about. Now i listen to what ppl say, hoping to not be a statistic. Ride safe and smart, everyone has the right of way if your on a street bike.
I wouldn't want someone showing me how to slip the cluth or how to take that turn twice as fast yet. That guy was probably rididng way outside his skill level from learning too much to fast.

Dont bash yourself, man.... A squid isnt just a rookie (There are squids that have been riding for YEARS)... Its some dumb *** who thinks a t-shirt is the only riding gear needed, and does wheelies through traffic. It seems like even though you didnt understand what you were getting yourself into, you now know. And you have respect for your motorcycle and your own mortality.
