I say go for it!
I wanna do it to mine, I got the stripping, but no stands =[ so its next to impossible to put on

They are a lot easier to put on then you think..you dont need stands just sit on the floor and roll the bike... Mine went on perfect in about 15 min.
I later removed them because they didnt last too long.
