Right rear brake assembley
my right rear brake peg snapped at the frame of the brake and foot peg. i have been looking to get a new one but i cant find just the mounting braket. it only comes with the brake lines cables and resovoirs, its like 280 something brand new and im finding them on ebay for 90.
i wish there was like a bike junk yard where i could go pull parts, haha.
anyway does anyone know where i could have any luck getting this part cheaper? or anyone know of anyone with an 01 F4i part out?
is it aluminum btw?

Your probably not going to find a rearset any cheaper than that. I've seen some in the 50-60 range, and you find one too, but you may have to wait it out and watch ebay. If it were me I'd just spend the money right now on ebay, thats about your best bet and you get it fixed right away.
Even if you find someone parting out a bike, they more than likely know what they are worth and will be asking around the same as on ebay, as the parts on ebay are parted out bikes too.
they are aluminum. but they are a cast aluminum, so if your thinking of welding, it won't be pretty and probably won't hold up very well. I wouldn't bother welding it for safety's sake alone.
You can always sell the parts that are still good on yours too. If your lever and peg are good, you can recover a little cost there, but don't expect too much... maybe 20 bucks. Just as you need the bracket, someone out there probably needs the lever or peg.
