riding with a passenger

alright ive been riding for about 2 years now and i have never wanted to carry the responsibility of another life on the back seat of my bike when people have asked for a ride, lately though there is this cute girl with big tits that i want to hook up with that keeps wanting me to give her a ride, so with that being said i think any american male on this site can understand the way im feeling right now. the question i have is is riding with a passenger on the back a lot more difficult? like is it hard to balance the bike when your at a stoplight, doing a u-turn, braking, turning, or do you forget sometimes that there is another person on the bike all together sometimes? i just want to go into this as ready as possible, any advice would be appreciated guys.

Its a little more difficult but not like super hard. You will never forget the person on the back because you will have to give the bike a little more gas when taking off at a dead stop. Also Turning is a little bit harder because you have to worry about the other person not leaning at the right angle and their weight throwing your turn off. I personally didnt ride anyone on the back of the bike for almost 4 months after I bought the bike.

Infact the first person to ever ride on my bike was a 200lb. man
One of my buddies got tired of me telling nice girls that they couldnt have a ride because I was in-experienced at riding with someone on the back.

She wants to ride, eh? So take her for a spin -- 2 years on the road should be enough experience to take her for a nice ride. The bike will handle differently so just be aware of that. It'll feel like a pig so I'd advise against u-turns for a while. And don't try to be a show off ... I'm thinking she won't be impressed if you wheelie and she falls off.

Riding with someone on back is like a team event ... you both gotta know how to ride. The first time I took my wifey for a ride she said she'd ridden before -- obviously women lie because every time I leaned one way she leaned the other way. So I stopped in a quiet location and splained that she needed to copy everything I did. After that we were fine and dandy.

Good luck dude ...

you can tell the difference. braking and accelerating is greatly reduced. you have to make sure you give your self alot of braking distance. as for turning the same principles aply but you just have to be more carefull. when at a stop light make sure she keeps her feet on the pegs and while moving tell her to not shift weight suddenly cause it will throw you off. once you get a feel for it its real easy. just make sure you let her know the "rules" and what to do and not to do on the back. just take it slow and easy to start and you should be fine.

If you don't mind a big healthy girl with her arms wrapped around your waist. Riding with a pillon is a piece of torta.
Just remember to tell her not to try and sit up in a corner. (a natural response from an experienced pillon) tell her to hug you close.
Just remember that you have extra weight when overtaking or breaking. And be smooth, (with the bike as well!)
You lucky bastard;)

lol... gotta love the honesty! :D

i'll be the first to admit that although i don't like to give rides... when a HOT girl asks for one... i'm like "lemme go get my seat" since the cowl is always on the back. [8D]

anyway it will feel different. one thing i tell them not to do when on the back is shift around on the seat too much.... that really upsets the balance of the bike!

If I could find a cute passenger with big tits, I'd bolt up my rear pegs and throw on the seat. Hell yeah!

Isn't it a good idea to stiffen up the rear spring by a notch or two with the extra weight?

One good thing to tell her is that when you turn SHE should look over YOUR shoulder in the direction of the turn. This helps to insure that you are both going the same direction.
Another thing you can do to inforce the "don't wiggle" part is to have her sit on your bike and hold it up (if you trust her enough), and you sit behind her (on your bike). Then wave your arm, she will then feel for herself what it does to the bike and the balance.
Good luck, :)

Nothing to really worry about. The wife rides pillon with me all the time. Just tell her to lean with you in the turns, and no sudden or awkward movements and you should be okay.

It also helps to bump up the preload on the rear shock, and use the rear brake a little more than you normally would. It helps from the passenger sliding forward onto you when braking.
