Was riding, lost my keys and wallet....wtf

Riding my bike last night....I was wearing my school bag and the f in top pocket with my wallet and car/apt keys flew out....gone....debating whether or not to look for them...my trip unfortunately was around 30 miles...and I'm not sure how early or late it came out...not sure if it was the wind that opened the pocket or if it was just left open....so frustrated...

Go look for them, if you find them then that's good, if not then you at least went out for a ride. personally I put my wallet in a zippered pocket on the inside of my jacket. Good luck finding them.

I like to keep valuables zipped in the inner pockets of my leathers. I used to ride with a magnetic tank bag to keep cell phone, water, extra gloves, smokes(since quit) and other various items in. It puts the weight in the right spot and is visible...Now my new bike has a plastic tank cover so my tank bag is useless...
Anyways good luck finding your keys and wallet. I think it is worth a look.

one of my biggest fears when riding my bike is that my wallet will fall out of my pocket. i do the wallet check probably 100 times.

use the under seat storage for your keys and wallet!on some bikes you rig up your own pop out slider, instead of having to unbolt the seat everytime.if you dont have any space under the seat never mind what i just said!

just my two 2 cents.

That's terrific, now not only do they know where you live, but have the keys to get in too. Make sure you change that lock ASAP.

Hell I couldnt find my old bike license and holder when it came off my bike in a 10 mile highway run. I even knew what lanes I was in and for how long. Looked for 3 days and never saw them. You'd think shiny aluminum would stick out.

Chances are it fell out early. I tried putting my lunch in my front hoody pocket just for a short ride to work and it flew out first turn I took. It turns out the front pocket on a hoody is no good for storing lunches. Who woulda thought

yea i would go look for them, towards the beginning, but just retrace ur whole ride, whats it gonna hurt?

i was riding one day and my phone fell out of my pocket, but i felt it hit my foot on the way down so i got stopped and a car coming the other way almost ran over it

now it has these scratches all over the front from flying down the road like a hockey puck, lol
