RE: Ridiculous news paper article about "crotch rockets"
Some of the comments were pretty ignorant, but I didn't really have a problem with the article itself (and I definitely want to get one of those $1200 sport bikes).
It's true that our bikes are easily capable of speeds that are insane on public roads, and too many riders give into the temptation. And people don't remember the courteous rider who waved them through the interesction. They remember the guy in board shorts and wife beater, weaving through traffic at 120 mph.

the only thing they have wrong is the people that they are targeting, its not sport bike riders, it retards that happen to own a sport bike, but because of those idiots we are all going to be labeled all the time.

I don't see too much to complain about with the article except the aforementioned Harley owner spewing incorrect numbers but this line had me thinking [sm=wtf.gif]
That's the LEAST favorite route by most riders I know around here. [&:]
RIDERS' FAVORITE ROUTES
- In Atlanta, Interstate 285

"There were actual (rider) gangs running up and down Interstate 285, racing each other. Fortunately, that's not a major problem in the Augusta area," he said." That one cracks me up.. (rider) so he actually just said that there are gang problems.
