Can I use the MSF basic completion card at the CA DMV or do i have to wait for my cert in the mail?

correct The X ! you must wait for the cert of completion in the mail .. if you get pulled over and even though you passed the msf course the cops still must treat it as if your on a permit because technically you are .. some might be nice and understanding but even when your instructors hands you that card they are supposed to tell you that the card does MOT act in leiu of a licence .

 

i only needed the card. i never recieved a certificate in the mail. instructor just signed the card saying i completed the course.

 

but are you in CA?

 

CA DMV will not accept the card, if they did then you got lucky because the card is worthless to anyone but you. If you never recieved the cert then you got jacked.

ok, because a co-worker took the card to the DMV and got his endorsement...
