I have a CBR600F4i and my bike has been sitting in the garage for about 8 - 9 years. As you can probably guess, the tires have very little wear, but the manufactured year is really old (2009). Does it make a difference that the bike has been parked in the garage or do I need to replace the tires due to the age? I want to start riding again. I had the bike serviced toward the end of last year.

 

You definitely want to replace them. Old tires are very dangerous.
