RE: Record hog
I'm not saying it is impossible, but hogzilla a few years back checked out to be true despite aggressive attacks that it was not real. But...to alieviate allof this, even some bumkin from po-dunk knows better than to get a kill like this, take one or two crappy pics of it and ground the whole thing into sausage, and then come back a month later saying you got a record kill and wonder why people think it's fake. I caught a 32in speckled trout one time, went 9lb 4oz and I about **** myself when I landed that thing. I took a gazillion pics, pics of me holding it, pics of it in every way next to a measuring tape ect.....I dropped what I was doing, wrapped it in a wet towel and took it to the nearest official weigh station up the road a few miles, turn out it was 1in short and about 2lbs light to touch the state record, guy said he gets in 1-2 a week like it. Point is, had I took a bum shot and told all my buddies about this monster trout, and oh yea, I filleted it, sorry no pics, they'd be like, yea whatever man. So, if you get a monster hog like this, call the damn local news crew to come check it out. We used to land big sharks once in a while from the pier, and when we got a good one, we'd call the local news and they'd come out and do a quick bit on it, and the story was solid.

RE: Record hog
poor piggy fred ... makes you wonder. that in an area like that when those people were selling off their pigs , other people must have known that there was a huge hog that was raised and then went missing. the new "owner" probably got together with the kids dad and said that they could make a fortune off of this monster hog . i wonder if he (the son) still gets to keep his role in the monster hog movie ?
