Iphone? Guys, I need something that's a reasonable value, and that isVerizon. I have a feeling that the Samsung with the qwerty is best for me ( http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/s...edPhoneId=2951). Anyone know if it works well for tasks or notes, as well as calendar? Also, is there a way to back it up to a computer. I don't care about internet or e-mail functions. Is it easy to hack?

Thanks for the suggestions. Keep 'em coming!

That is a nice phone, and it probably the one I will get if I dont like the voyager when it comes out. I know of quite a few people who have it and havent heard any complains on it.

^^^Samsungs seem to be reliable, and reasonably priced. I don't like Verizon's UI, though. Isn't there a way to change it? Aso it looks like the sch-u740 doesn't do "tasks". This is kind of important to me. I have an older toshiba pda (pocket pc) that I use almost exclusively for this. I'm not surethatI can make "notes" work the same way for me. I haven't used this on my V3m(razr).

Damn, the Voyager looks nice! I might be getting that one here in a few months...

the HTC 8925 from AT&T basically does everything an iPhone can, and much more.

I've never understood the big deal about the iPhone. I've been using PDAPhones for about 5 years, and they have always been able to do what the iphone can, and more. I guess the 'i' is supposed to make it so much better or something.....

AT&T has the better featured phone, but Sprint has the faster network. If you want to do a lot of surfing and downloads from your phone then I'd recommend the Sprint HTC Mogul, also known as the PPC-6800, or HTC Titan (not TyTn). The phone itself is not quite up to par on the 8925, but still does just about anything you need it to.

The biggest advantage to using a phone with Windows Mobile is the availibility of 3rd party apps, something the iPhone currently doesnt allow, but will sometime next year.

If you decide to go with something that runs windows mobile, get with me, I'll point out a couple of sweet sites......
