Default Recommend a Good Phone?

Can you guys give me some ideas for a new phone? I am looking for something that has a qwerty keyboard, is good for texting, and can store tasks and appointments. Also, I would like something that has a decent camera, too. I'm obviously looking for the best value, and would like something that isn'tdifficult to hack. I'm with Verizon, and would like to stay with them if possible.

hey... im with verizon, and i just got a new phone the other day. it has the qwerty keyboard as well

its also mp3 phone, if you like music. Plus it was only 80 bucks with the rebate. pretty tight phone.. it flips open both ways, so you can use the qwerty keyboard, or flip it like a normal phone... it dang thin too. kinda like a razor or something. they got 2 colors in it, but i got the black 1

if you are looking to sync with a computer i suggest either a palm treo or blackberry. i got the new palm centro which is their smallest treo. i used to have a blackberry before i got this phone. so far it is working out fine for me. the only thing i'm not too impressed with is the email client syncing with exchange. the blackberry got that part right. neither microsoft mobile os or palm can compete against the blackberry in this aspect. other than that phone is great. i have it synced to my home computer and work email (exchange).

HTC 8125 or the 8525 are both good. The are GSM phones, so will work on everything but verizon. I guess it all depends on your carrier. I have the 8125.

I would wait. Verizon is bringing out a phone to battle the i-Phone. Supposed to be pretty cool. Touch screen and a qwerty keyboard.

But you will probably have to have a special plan like hte iphone as well. The HTC phones are both touch screen, query boards, wifi, etc, but no special plan.

If u can do without the querty keyboard go for the nokia n95, up to 14 gig memory (8 gig on the ph and 6 gig sd card) a 5 megapixal camera, built in gps, full web surfing, plays ipod movies does all the email things no worries. It is 1 of my favourite toys i mean tools.

I love my iPhone. I personally think AT&T is great, with great coverage in the NJ/NY area. And if you travel internationally at all, GSM is the way to go.
