Many here have said cops are there to harass everyone. Well, let's see. I've had contacts with the police several times in the last 28years I've lived my small, quiet town. There was the time some drugged out guy stomped up on my front porch at 2:00 AM and started pounding the crap out of my door. The police took care of it. And the time another druggie, or drunk, was walking around the neighborhood pounding on houses, including mine. The police were there for that too. They were there when the party house next door got wild at 3:00 in the morning and a teenager wearing panties and a bra kept running out of the house screaming and falling in the snowbank. The kids would haul her back in, and she'd come back out. The took about a dozen kids off to jail that night. They were here pronto when someone in the area was shouting, a woman was screaming, and there were a couple shots fired. Back in the 55 mph hour days I had several conversations with highway patrolmen about speeding - all justified.Since then I've had the 'hand down' signal when the bike got a little fast, but no stops. Have I ever been hassled? Yes, there was one guy that might have qualified as a jerk when I was a teenager. Hewatched me maybe more than necessary. On the other hand, he just might have noticed that mycar was usually going a little faster than legal, that themuffler wasa little noisy and that I had a bit of an attitude. Dunnoif that was itfor sure, but many of my crowd thought he was an okay cop. Sorry guys, if the police are following you around making your life miserable you just might want to take stock of the person riding your bike to find the problem.

heres my rant. perfect example. Look at my tag.It is on the back of my bike in the right place.I have 2 tag lights on it.I get pulled over atleast twice a month and the excuse is . I couldn't read your tag from 50ft away or your tag isn't lit up enough.I am sick of the sheitty police bothering regular people.Instead of doing things that matter.I think I have met 1 nice cop outa everytime I've been pulled over.I show all cops respect and get none in return.I love how they don't understand why 90% of all people think that they are all crooked and liars.well your track records show it

I have a bunch of cops as friends. I hear tons of stories about stupid people and their problems they call about, so I hear what you're talkin bout.

That said I still don't like cops. But if I ever need one I won't have to call, they show up at my house every time there's three cars in the driveway to see if we're having a party, which is great cause there's four people that LIVE here with cars.

So it was a beautifull weekend here and together with my riding group I got in nearly 1000 km. One of the guys is a cop, he rides an R1 and has 20 odd years of experience. He's more of a "friend of a friend" really, but a pretty good guy. The thing is he rides fast, and this morning marks the second time I've seen him enter a small town a tad hot, get stopped, and simply "tin" the on duty officer and away he/we go! I don't begrudge him for this, in fact it's kinda nice having a cop in the group.lol
Anyway on a more related note, I have nothing against the police and everything I have been in trouble for I deserved.

I speak from personal experience, my brother was a cop, (turned him into an *******) and my other brother was killed by the cops. I know all about the cops, and the corruption behind them. I could type half a dozen stories here about the bull**** cops pull and get away with, all because they can hide behind their badges. Thepolice suck.
