A rant about non riders.
man, if that dude woulda been in a car instead of being on a bike, he probly woulda been at the very least seriously injured if not dead....fack em all, just ride. when it comes down to it at the end of your days, the real question is did you do the things that you always wanted to do and the things that you loved to do, or did you just take the safe route every chance you could and now regret not doing more? thats what its all really bout lil homie.
p.s.
listen to mike, get a couple different girls that aint gonna bitch at you. there are plenty of fish in the sea bro.

back in the day, when i had my dirt bike for about a year, a cousin who i had never met got a kawasaki 250 dirt bike for his birth day. On his first day out riding he went over a blind hill to fast , hit a guard rail, flew across the two lane road, and got clothes lined on a metal wire holding a telephone pole to the ground. he died at the scene. The day before the funeral was the last day i was going to be able to ride my bike for atleast a year. my grandpa ( who i lived with .i was probably 12-13) told me that when he looked into that coffin he saw me in it , and that i could no longer ride my bike. When i got it back it was no longer my size, but yet i still rode it . so i know how your feeling. I went a complete year only being able to look and sit at my bike. atleast you have the ability to decide for yourself.
I don't have one single person except for my girlfriend who thinks I should keep my bike...every single relative I know says to get rid of it.
It all goes back to the number of people who have "riden for 40-50 years" vs the people were seriously injured at some point earlier in life. I'm not invicible, and I don't ride like I am.
I love riding, so I'm gonna keep doing it. If I die doing it, I died doing what I loved. What more can you ask for?
Consider the alternative, how terrible would it be to do die a healthy, old man who doesn't have any purpose in life other than to suck down pills and watch TV in a nursing home?

This is why I try to keep pictures of all the girls I dated so I can brag about what a stud I thought I was when I was younger.
