Yes, its not the greatest sub amp. You cannot run your 6x9 and your sub with the same amp unless you have an external crossover. Does the amp have one built in? its gonna push high frequencies(6x9) or low freq.(sub), or full(crappy for both). So its either gotta be the sub or the 6x9's for the amp. Personally I'd buy a 2 channel for the sub and use that for the 6x9's.

P.s.- I'm runnin' 1000 watts to one kicker solobaric.

the amp has a filter switch that tells channel's 1 & 2 to run full range, high pass or low pass, and the same for channels 3& 4

Something is wrong though because even though i believe I've connected everything up right, the amp has power, and the HU is telling it to turn on and the amps power light is on but the speakers aren't making any noise at all.

anyways, i think I'll get a monoblock class d 800wrms amp for the sub and use the 4 channels for four speakers now.

I use an Audiobahn 4-channel amp to power a JL DVC sub and a pair of 5.25" components. I know it's not quite the power that the sub needs, but I'm running a capacitor and everything is fine. I've had the setup for 2 years and still hits nice and hard.
I drive a Wrangler and don't have too much room for a big box or amp, so I don't plan on changing any time soon.
I say if you don't have too much invested in it to try it (if the power rating aren't too far off)

damn, i dont remember which way i hooked mine up, + to - on teh DVC or + to +, both are fine, just one has much more power than the other way. I remember I had alot of troubles trying to figure it out, never had used a DVC before until I got my 12"JLW3. have a Pioneer 750W max, 600W RMS pushing the w3(not bridged) and a 200W pioneer pushing 2-6x9s. want to get another w3 but i picked this one up for $160 after tax, brand new. manager hooked me up since i got him some free pizza! now he doesnt work there so i am screwed and will have to pay the $300 list price.

If you wire them in series instead parallel that might help or the other way around. Good luck.
