Yes..it's kinda the British humour to always moan about the weather, if it rains half the time they'll say it rains ALL the time lol...
We get droughts and have hose pipe bans too but not the last couple of years...

I have noticed the seasons have changed here a bit... I remember during the 80's longer hotter summers and colder icier winters but they have evened out more now, more rainy days in summer and warmer winters, probably global warming to blame for that...

When you do get the good weather here combined with some of these beauty spots it's hard to imagine anywhere nicer than the quiet English countryside...

So why are our taxi drivers awesome?

Smart bathroom by the way...lol

Unlike New York cabbies, they keep their cabs clean, they know where they are going and they speak English.

Ah well yes, I think they have to pass some sort of test here and they are tested on their knowledge of London etc...

I'll contribute! I live in Portland, Oregon in the Pacific Northwest area of the U.S. I love it here, so beautiful. Here are a few shots from rides I've taken.

Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Rainier, and Mt. Adams from Larch Mountain.

WOW! that's awesome! Nothing like that in Ohio or anywhere I'v been. You don't want to see where I ride LOL!
HAHAHAH i was thinking the same thing! Oklahoma City and Liberty, MO are not the greatest places to spot natural beauty. unless you like straight, flat roads and telephone poles.

Here some pics of my ride today.A little over cast,Lake is a little low 06-07 drought year for us.I'll return in summer after snow melt and the water will to capacity. This is near Yosemite National Park.Roads get quite tight around here mostly 1st and 2nd gear.
