This is a place I often visit when I solo ride ... what am I talking about, I only ever solo ride now ...lol
I'll get up early and be here in about an hour from me ... it's Lake Brenig near Denbigh, North Wales .. it's so beautiful and peaceful here, almost like another world .. even in the high summer it's almost always deserted ... which is good because I can spend many an hour here having some lunch by the lake and singing with my music without being over heard ..lol

I have a place just like that. I also ride there solo, its very quiet there and I call it my "secret hiding spot" Its near where I grew up, and I feel like Im at home there.

I can sit and watch the water, and soak up the beauty in peace, I have spent many times there alone reflecting. I havent brought a camera to take pics, but I will the next time I go.

I don't think I can post pics of where I like to hang out, probably be deemed "inappropriate." lol

 

These are the places you will find me every weekend..all about 20 minutes from me.

 

I have a place I would like to post of, but I have no pics or camera to get some. Once I do, its still a 2 hours ride, but its a nice one, so I'll hopefully have pictures of it someday.

 

Dang, you guys have some nice riding places, all desert out here. Dirt and cactus looks the same everywhere.[&:]

 

You sound just like me Redd :-) ... I can sit there for simply ages with my ipod just looking out across the water and reflect, lose myself ... no-one knows I'm there ... I have this thing about not letting anyone know where I am ... I like to feel unreachable at times .. I just do.
