Congrats on the new purchase....but why did you go from an F4i to a R6? An upgrade would be an R1.(IMO)
RB
And I respect your opinion. However, I'd wager a guess that you might not have had an 06 F4i side by side with an 08 R6 in your garage.(never mind actually feeling the weight difference)Perhaps the picture doesn't do it justice.

Oh. you're the first to use the term "upgrade" sorry

Why do you have to upgrade when you buy something new? If it feels right then its perfect for you. I dont envy you, nor am I jealous (deadly sins) but Im happy you have a bike that makes you feel giddy. Good job and I hope you have a long happy life with it. BTW would you be upset if you caught me having sex with it?!

When I saw it in grey here on the states I really didn't dig the look of the nose.

That 2 tone color scheeme makes it look absolutely incredible though.

Congrats, and enjoy!!

I think I'll stick with the odd twinge of jealousy now and then--it's a great motivator, and since I can count on myself to never act upon it--in a manner that would hurt, vandalize, or otherwise deface--there's nothing 'deadly' about it.

Thanks for all the comments guys. Here's a photo shop pic of what it will look like when I get the passenger peg plugs and the tail light integrater I ordered. Also a test lap vid from Sugo that is just cool from any riders perspective

wow, that video was cool.

What I don't get is why a lot of people still have the mentality that a 1000 is an upgrade for a 600.

It's not. Different bikes for different needs.
