In the NL you pay 19% tax.. It depends on the country you order it from (might be a percentage higher or lower).
The price might also include import tax though they probably add that to the shipping cost or something.

What are you ordering in Europe anyway? Doesn't the US have all you need?

Kriega Backpack. I seemed the price was lower in UK. And I was looking at AGV helmet that I like the design but cannot find in US. But I might invest money in leather pants instead. I still want Kriega backpack though. Is that pretty good?

I've never tried the Kriega backpacks so I wouldn't know. Is there something special about them or could you find a similar backpack from a different brand? (I just saw it on the MCN website.. perhaps it's quite good)

Is it still cheaper if you consider the currency rate (if the price isn't already calculated in $ on the UK website) and shipping cost? Which model are you looking to get? R25?

I have a leather combi suit that I used ONCE! I bought a textile combi after that but only really used the pants in winter time and on longer (highway) trips. Why get leather pants? They are highly impractical for daily riders. Look into some Kevlar riding jeans instead (if it's for daily riding use, you might even be able to buy two pairs instead of one pair of leather pants depending on the price and brand).

You DO NOT get charged VAT if you live outside Europe.
You might get charged for customs taxes though.

R15 it is shorter to fit my small body. Interestingly, most company in US doesn't want to do USPS post mail to Hawaii and they do UPS or FEDEX. I was looking at couple online stores in UK which charge the same amount of shipping as US companies.

Slick 6: Thanks for the info.

I just found it available at BMW San Fran, and they may charge me only $10 for shipping.
