I cant afford "top of the line" crap. Looks like I'm going with Intel's quad core Q6600 with EVGA mobo (been featured in 3 mags and was choice on Maximum PC Dream Machine '07).
AMD isnt even announcing the Barcelona till Sept 10 and then the time to get them out in the market. Plus they'll be starting out slow (not even 2GHz) and I'm sure they'll be pricy.

they also over clock it for you if you get stage 3 cooling. so they said it should clock to 3.2 at the least. i think they are good website. just check out the ratings at resellerratings.com... i didn't go with the 8800gts 320mb for now waiting for it to get cheaper my wife has that in her cpu with a x2 5200. so yah just check it out and do more research. 3 year warranty on these cpus ... hope that helps
