Our bad riding habits
What are your bad habits when you're riding?
My biggest is that I don't look far enough through the turns. I find myself scanning through the turn then I'll catch myself looking at the ground ahead... Not sure if it's fear of gravel/sand or whatever and I look down to see it or what.. But what are the rest of the habits you would like to shake?

RE: Our bad riding habits
I do that all the time...I was getting a lot better at keeping my eyes towards the end of the turn for a while but wrecked due to gravel or some **** so I'm back at square 1 for a bit, it's hard to get over that fear of trashing it again or worse. I got lucky, I couldn't imagine losing it in a right hander and a dump truck coming around the bend...then it's lights out. I just take it easy on the street anymore, pretty dumb to treat regular roads like they're a racetrack...I'd hate to leave my gf to deal with payin rent and all that **** by herself, not to be arrogant but I think she'd be pretty damn upset for other reasons as well. Just not worth it.

the coolest people ride with night vision!
i also do the one hand thing and tend not to look through the turn because of the same fear.
another for me is not using turn signals, i just dont feel the need if there is no one around, but i know they are there for a reason and should be used.

It may just be because I've never had a bike with such power, but whenever I work a night shift and get on the interstate after work (around 11:30pm) I lean in and pile it on to give the bike a real workout. Not that I've gone very fast (topped at 131 so far) but it's probably not smart either.

Proving some bitch on a cell phone her corolla isnt faster than 1000cc's on 2wheels.
One handed.
Wearing my skate shoes, for lack of wanting to wear boots all day.
Whats a blinker?
Lane splitting when its illegal in NV... cut me some slack just moved from CA where its ok.
Speed limit is usually an issue.. who goes 25mph?

Don't know why, but I can cook a right corner, but I totally stuff up the lefties all the time. Next would be not listening to that little voice in my head, the one that goes along the lines 'If you do this your a f*cking idiot'. Next would be to keep riding while busting for a pee, so that I can keep up with my mate(s), nothing takes the concentration off the road like a full bladder.
