I know this forum promotes safe and lawful riding on the road, but here are the fines for my area to help or make you think twice. Especially if you are prone to pull the front end up or brake hard enough to lift the rear wheel off of the ground.

As of this year in Illinois, 1st wheelie offence while exceeding the speed limit(whatever the hell that means) is $100. 2nd offence, $1500. plus 6months jail time. 3rd one gets you $2500. plus 1 year jail time.

Ya I live in Illinois too and when that pasted the height that apes on all the Harley rides bikes got higher that I believe was thanks to abat correct me if I'm wrong the higher the apes the less control you have at lower speeds does that sound safe doesn't to me
