Olympic history unfolded
"Olympic history unfolded outside the International Space Station Saturday morning (Nov. 9) as two Russian cosmonauts carried an unlit Olympic torch on a symbolic spacewalk relay for the 2014 Games."
Maybe they could have passed around a dead raccoon instead and claimed it was the first raccoon in space. I think that would be far more interesting than a dead torch.
I'd rather see the Olympic flame make news by being the cause of the biggest wild fire in CA or see it burn down 1/2 of the Brazil rain forest than to see it not lit in,of all places, outer space.
What the heck am I missing here??????
