I don't know...I see Charles Widmore as a man behind the curtains kind of guy. A keyplayer, sure, but not a character. Maybe in the last season when Ben and Charles really comes to terms and find out that Charles is Ben's real father. Do you think Charles Widmore funded the original Dharma Initiative?

Now the Michael thing is kindof a spoiler for those in the UK, but most people had that figured out as soon as Ben mentioned a spy. OH BTW...I hated Michael. I vote him the most annoying character. NOT to mention him shooting Hugo's woman. I wanted to shoot him, strangle him, burn him alive and then shoot him some more (Ok, fine, I'd probably just throw some nasty epithets at him). I also find Kate very kniving which really grates at me. I liked her better in the beginning when she wasn't reverting to her old ways. I find her to be a dirty bird! Dirty little bird! Sorry didn't mean to go all Kathy Bates there. I liked Locke a lot in the beginning, too, but my faith in him really has faltered. I'm glad that he seems to have let go of his past pain of what is father did to him....granted it took his father's death to do it but hey, he got over it! Kudos to him!

Juliet I like, for the most part. She seems to emanate an honesty that draws me to her, though not without caution, since she did work with Ben.

Now Mohinder....oh wait....that's Heroes....

Jack, I can understand his craziness. He was shoved into a position of authority, which he handled fairly well under the circumstances and then pulled back out of and stuck in society where he didn't really have a direction. It's like having a peaceful life being tossed into the middle of chaos. Also, since he and Juliet were starting to get along together makes me wonder what happened to her. I can probably elaborate on that more...but my head is hurting. Kind of happens with a lot our soldiers coming back from war.

Daniel Faraday...I hated (lots of hate being tossed around) him in Saving Private Ryan! Cripes he could have helped by throwing his typewriter at the German! But I digress... His character I think will be key in that he has a little more understanding of what is going on with the space time continium. It's a miracle that the whole time travel paradox was avoided...oh wait...Desmond's mind went back to his old body...nvm...no...wait: that's more like the butterfly effect...but hey yeah...why didn't he cause a ripple or did he fix the ripple by grounding himself <scratches head>. I'm so lost.

Aaron can't be number 6...Tricia Helfer is. I guess he could be considered it, since technically he survived the crash.

I guess Sun's child isn't really considered since the birth and conception took place afterward the crash and the whole abortion rights thing.

Is Sayid considered one of the 6? I don't remember any mention of him...I think Ben and Sayid snuck off on their little love raft. Actually I see Ben and Locke being in cohoots for the time that we saw Sayid in...what was it...Paris? It's that...or Ben shot him....again...

<just realized how poorly written this is. oh well...it is what it is>

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one that finds Michael intensely annoying...I just do..not only the character but I don't think he's a good actor either... I liked Kate better too in early episodes but now she's just turned into runaround Sue and a right royal pain in the *** as you guys say ...lol ...I should have kicked her **** much better in the muddy jungle scene...next time Kate *Juliet Death Stare*

My favourite actor is Michael Emerson for his portrayal of Ben...the guy is such a natural for the role...even when Ben is tied up and bloodied there is still something menacing about him...I think Michael Emerson is probably my favourite in terms of his acting ability and I think he's so funny the way he winds Locke up...

Michael Emerson was also the one in the first Saw movie...and if you saw it, you would know that his character, though you hated him...ended up not being all what you thought he was. We are probably in store for a very similiar situation here....especially since no one seems to be what we thought. Ben does creep me out. He plays the role rather handedly and he does wind Locke up pretty well. I wonder if he read a lot of psych books.

I have watched the show since it started and I have to say it's gone down hill a bit. I still like it watch it and talk about it, but it's just getting way out there-well it always has been.

I agree I do not like Kate that well.

I guess we'll just have to see what happens this week and go from there. They say someone dies this week and I have a few that I would like to see go, but I'll keep that to myself for now.

Elizabeth Mitchell is HOT! and the best thing that has happend to that show.

I liked the Hydra days ... when the "others" had Jack locked up in the Hydra ... she was always so sweet to him but he didn't buy it ...

Good song and good summation here ...

First introduction to Juliet was a blast from the past. I think it was used in a commercial in Philly in the 70's, too:

Strange you posted that one ... I absolutely love Downtown ... my mum was always playing it when I was a child :-) I think it is just as relevant today as it was back then ... maybe even more so in this stressed out world ...another timeless song :-)

Jules

PS I have the full quality MP3 version right here if anyone wants it ...
