if you guys think you can get 7 guys on thursday that might work....but then what if we set it for 2pm, and i have a customer and cant open the draft? then we are screwed all over again....and behind even more.....im sorry ffingers, but i just think it looks grim.

 

i say everyone go...pre-rank your players on the site....we can set a time where 6 or 7 out of 10 can agree....if you can make it great...if not, the auto draft will pick players based on your rankings...if you miss a couple pics, the auto-draft will take care of it...

listen everyone...i know everyone wants to strategize a ton and i can appreciate that...but coming from someone who has done these things before...with 10 players....every team will be good....sure, you may want to pick a "sleeper" player, but pre-rank him high and you will get him....trust me....if he's a sleeper, others probably don't know about him...

think of it like this....we are each going to take a defense...probably will have the top 10 defenses in the league amongst us....we will probably have the top 10-20 Qbs....etc.....no one is going to have a bad team plus with injuries and all, everyone will be drafting and releasing guys all year....

we just need to schedule the draft....on a day where 60-70% of us can be there....hope the other 30-40% can make it, if not, auto-draft it baby!......

just my opinion....hell, if i get screwed and have to auto-draft, so be it....

 

I agree with fast fingers. Last night the 7 of us agreed that Thursday night would be ideal, 9 or 10 PM EST if I'm correct. So if you can't make it, you'll still have a nice auto-picked squad even if you don't personally prerank your players.

no one wants to be stuck autodrafting......theres 1 way to ensure everyone doesnt have to do that. no matter how good you rank your players it sucks to autodraft....i mean last year i spent HOURS preranking....and i endend up with like 8 RB's.

and your reasoning is very flawed....a top 3 QB is far different than a top 10.....big difference in points, value, etc etc.

 

I just found out I am ****ed for Thursday unless it is during the day. I have to go down the river (jet boat)with all the salesmen, district managers, and vp of the region. Starts at four pm and probably goes to 8-9 pm (pacific). I understand what you are saying Stinky, but...damn, I'd hate to have an auto drafted team...[:@]! I will do whatever is best for the rest. Always have to compromise in life. Let's see what happens.
