Yesterday I rode back through a little snow shower coming back from parent-teacher conference at my daughters school. It was kind of cool, but that was a short local trip.
If you can be a little flexible about your travel days, it definitely can be done. Just check out the weather reports and head out when you know youll have a window of good weather, and remember the usual warnings about cold tires and roads, and dressing warm with multiple layers.
Its up to you how important it is to have your bike with you in Jersey. But other than that, and being able to say you did it, I dont see much advantage. Slabbing it up and down I95 isnt a very fun or scenic ride. Id rather do it in May or June, take about a week for the trip, and follow twisty backroads all the way up the Appalachain Mountains.

yea dude, UHaul that bike, I ride in 30degree or less (it was actually 26degrees this morning when I went to work) and i dont have good circulation in my hands, i need to get some grip warmers, and I had to let my hands thaw out when I got to work, haha.... Thats a long ride on a bike, but main reason to get a Uhaul is cause of snow
